How I select the Eyeliner Color for my Clients
The eyeliner enhances the eye color. I select the color according to the eye color and my client’s preference in terms of tone and intensity. I could use any color for eyeliner, but I prefer the darkest colors of each brown palettes and also the special effects colors.
This are all the Eyeliner Color Pallets
COOL COLORS - Chocolate Eclair and Charcoal for a grey/black effect
NEUTRAL COLORS - Earth and Mahogany. Those colors look brown in the tube , but once interact with my client’s melanin, they turn to black.
WARM COLORS - German Chocolate and Cafe Ole for those who want a true brown color.
SPECIAL EFFECTS - Irish Moss, Jade Granite, Blue Lagoon, Tempting Teal and Black Orchid. Fabulous colors for blue, green, or gray eyes. These colors are natural and earthy enough to make only a subtle difference, yet they can really bring out those exotic eyes. Alternatively, they can be used to create a smudgy eyeliner effect just above a black or dark brown liner.
For medium toned liner:Try Earth with a little Pearl, or a 50/50 mix of Blue Lagoon and Tempting Teal.
For a dark toned liner: Charcoal, Blue Lagoon, Chocolate Eclair, Mahogany, or Black Orchid.
For medium toned liner: Earth, Expresso, or Pecan Pie.
For dark toned liner: Charcoal, Chocolate Eclair, Mahogany, Cafe Ole or Black Orchid.

- Irish Moss: It is a greenish/ brown color
- Jade Granite: It is a greenish/ black color
- Mahogany: I select this color if my client has a lot of blue undertone, so the final result is always a neutral black. (It doesn’t turn blue)
- Charcoal: If my client prefers an ashy black.
- Black Orchid if my client doesn’t have too much blue undertone and wants a dark black.
I hope you will take this into consideration.
