HOW I SELECT THE EYELINER COLOR FOR MY CLIENTS

The eyeliner enhances eye color and expression.

I prefer selecting the eyeliner colors according to the eye color and my client’s preference in terms of tone and intensity.

I could use any Softap color for eyeliner, but I prefer the darkest shades of each brown palette and the special effects colors because I get more contrast and are more evident.

To select the best color for your client, you should understand the characteristics of the colors you use and the effects you want to achieve.

I want you to learn the color palette first, and then I'll give you the options to achieve what you and your client want.

SPECIAL FX

The special effects colors are natural and earthy enough to make only a subtle difference. Yet they can bring out those exotic eyes. Alternatively, they can create a smudgy eyeliner effect above a black or dark brown liner.
In this palette, you find green, blue, and plum tones.

Fabulous colors for blue, green, or gray eyes.

WARM LINERS

These are the darkest colors of the warm  palette.
They are the best for those who want an actual brown color.

NEUTRAL LINERS

These colors look brown in the tube, but once they interact with my client’s melanin, they turn black.
They are the most popular colors since the result is very natural and neutral.

You may use them for all skin types and eye color.

COOL LINERS & BLACK

The cool liners give a smoky effect to the eyeliner

The black orchid is the blackest black of the palette.

SELECTION ACCORDING TO THE EYE COLOR

I like to select a color that complements the outer portion of my client’s iris.
